This is probably the easiest way to make hot chocolate on sticks. This recipe makes an amazing Christmas gift, if you are on budget, and you need something on big batches. Anyone who receives this gift will enjoy these hot chocolate on sticks during this cold season!
Yield: 8 hot chocolate on sticks

Equipment

  • Containers with several compartments: silicone baby food storage containers, disposable plastic shot glass, cupcake pan, large ice cubes tray etc
  • Wooden spoons, Paper straws, Popsicle sticks
  • Christmas decorations for wrapping
  • Transparent plastic gift bags
  • Printable: chenguins hot chocolate stick instructions

Ingredients you need

  • 200 g White Chocolate
  • 200 g Milk Chocolate
  • 200 g Dark Chocolate
  • Edible decorations such as marshmallows and sprinkles optional

Directions

  • In three metal bowls, melt white, milk and dark chocolates separately over a hot water bath. Make sure that no water comes in contact with the chocolates.
Tip: If you are only using one metal bowl to melt the chocolates, then start with white chocolate, then milk chocolate and lastly, dark chocolate.

  • In a suitable container, pour melted chocolates into the container with compartments. Please feel free to be creative: three chocolate layers; black and white layers; black and white fusion; different sprinkles. The list goes on.
Tip: If you are using a silicone container such as the one I am using, it would be logical to put the lid below the silicone container before you start. This is because silicone is really soft, and it will be difficult if you intend to transfer the container from one working top to another working space after you pour in the content.
  • Stick wooden spoons/Popsicle sticks/paper straws into the melted chocolates. The chocolates should be thick enough to hold on the sticks.
  • Sprinkle and decorate hot chocolate sticks according to your taste. This step is absolutely optional.
  • Let the hot chocolate stirrers cool down completely at room temperature, if you intend to give them away. This takes about 6-8 hours, or just leave them to cool down overnight. After they have hardened, take them out carefully from the compartments.
  • Insert the hot chocolate sticks into small plastic gift bags and wrap them accordingly. Please do not forget to print out your free hot chocolate stick instructions gift tags at chenguins.com.
